About Mid-Anglia Centre

Mid Anglia Centre

So who are Mid-Anglia?....We were formed in 1972, and are one of 70 Centres that are listed in the Caravan Club Directory & Handbook. If you are a member of the Caravan Club you may join us on any Centre event and will be most welcome...and better still, there is no membership fee to join Mid-Anglia!

Where are we...."The Heart of Cambridgeshire".... so near to so much of the country, touching no less than 8 counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Rutlandshire and Linclonshire.

And what can we offer you?....A warm and friendly welcome for families and couples a like, to any of our organised events throughout the year. We also have an active Junior Committee, so children are of course always very welcome, and our future lies with them. Our aim is to promote a relaxing and safe environment to all who share a common interest - caravanning. Our events can be local weekends as well as holidays either in the UK or abroad, and are simply a social gathering of Club members in which we pursue various pastimes and sports.

If you want to get more from your caravan, have a look at our 2017 Rally Programme of Events, and we hope to see you soon!

2016 Chairlady's Letter

CHAIRLADY'S LETTER

Thank you for giving me this opportunity, I am feeling very proud and privileged to be the Mid-Anglia Chairlady with the support of my husband Ian and daughter Jenna.

I do hope over the coming year I will be able to meet and make some new friendships on the for coming rallies which I would like to thank Kim Richardson for putting together the new rally book which will be presented to us all at the Natter and Chatter. I hope you save the date and join us at Park Lane School, Godmanchester on the 21st January, at 2.30pm.

Spring Bank holiday 26-31st May, is the 90th National which is being held at Sandringham House, you are now able to go onto the Caravan Club website and book your space, they are expecting this to get booked up fairly quickly. Let us have a good amount of vans to see if we can enter teams into as many of the activities as possible. I thank John Kent for accepting to being our regional block marshal for this event. Also, Ian Crutchfield for joining us on committee as sports officer.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the rest of the committee for committing their time and supporting me and hope we all work well over the next few months.

We only have a few rallies left in 2016, so I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2017. The booking forms are now available on the website or contact Ian or myself for the Mid-Anglia Dinner which is on 27th-29th January, or you can just join us for the Dinner.

Kind regards
Karen McDonald
Chairlady.
