Juniors visit 'Baby Basics'

Baby Basics is a charity that supports mums and their new baby's who are in need of help and support, and when requested by Health professionals, will supply items to these new mums.

Today, some of last year's Junior committee paid a visit to Baby Basics in Dersingham Church.

Alisa, Tai, Jack & Isabella helped make up 2 Moses Baskets filled with the essentials needed for a new mum and baby who need this help and support.

From nappies, mittens, hats, cardigans, socks and baby grow's for baby to shower gel, shampoo, deodorant & toothbrush & toothpaste for mum.

All these items are donated or bought by the charity and a completed Moses basket is delivered to the mum by the Health professionals who requested it.

The staff at Baby Basics do not know who the recipient is, only the sex of the baby and the due date, but every one is carefully packed with obvious love and attention to detail.

Our juniors then presented their cheque for £400 that had been raised during last year.

Thanks to everyone who donated to the Bonus Ball, Tombola, 50:50 raffle and all the other fund raising our Juniors did last year.
